Garden Layout & Consultation
To ensure that our plants will have
success in your garden, we:
Grow plants in the conditions in which they will also be growing in your garden: not protected from weather, in soils like the ones you will find in your yards.
We use natural and organic fertilizers, such as Bat guano, worm castings, and a "secret" blend of certified organic fertilizers, including alfalfa meal, rock phosphate, kelp and fish emulsions. Liquid kelp is used as a foliar feed in addition to SuperThrive to reduce or eliminate transplant shock and provide nutritional boost and root development.
Mycorrhizae for the roses helps create a positive symbiotic relation of the fungi with the soil. Using mycorrihizae improves nutrient and water uptake, root and plant growth, improves plant yield and disease resistance, and reduces transplant shock and drought stress.
We take a flexible, learning approach to discovering the best cultural needs of plants. We move them around the grounds, rotate them for strength and good appearance, and water them reflecting seasonal weather conditions, to maintain them in the way you will most likely maintain them.
